Junior studying Finance. Equities swing trader who occasionally trades intraday as well. I've only been trading for about 3 years now, and I'm still trying to find my way in this market like everyone else.
I once knew a man who worked on Wall Street when I was a child. He had the toys that I wanted. I became him & got fired for day trading. I feel great about it. This is spec $ & conversation, not the house. Life is a gamble. Good luck.
Canslim style, You only learn thru experience. Mkt is like poker/chess. Know the hand your dealt and manage risk accordingly. Try to think a few moves ahead, not like a pawn. Everyday in mkt doesn't matter. Know which ones do. 99% daytraders lose
I look for undervalued/under appreciated companies w/ a catalyst offering large returns over the course of a week, month or a year; Getting into technical set ups now; Very much learning & will make some bad choices but winning more than I lose
