Expose yourself to quality setups and you can make money in any market. Be early to locate relative strength, then exit when things get heated. Shorts are also okay. Find weak stocks and position yourself for continuation.
Market psychology is a primary to me.
I look at the charts as a secondary and only to help me better understand the market psychology.
If bulls/bears claim to be 100% right, I'll probably bet against them, given the business model.
