The StockTwits API attempts to return appropriate HTTP status codes for every request. The following table describes the codes which may appear when working with the API:

• 200 - Success
• 400 - Bad Request
• 401 - Unauthorized
• 403 - Forbidden
• 404 - Not Found
• 422 - Unprocessable Entity
• 429 - Too Many Requests
• 500 - Internal Server Error
• 503 - Service Unavailable
• 504 - Gateway Timeout
