Years of experience. I trade stocks about to break out or down for huge gains. Currently holding a very large stake in AAPL since 2003 ($1.50/share). Also TSLA ($20/share) since IPO. Always remember that the market is a zero sum game.
It's a mistake to blindly follow anyone, including "experts" and media. I've been too greedy and too fearful. Learning candlesticks, watching RSI. Mistakes can be great teachers. Disclaimer: My musings are ideas, not investment advice.
Learn charting, it works-period. But it takes time and practice, EVERY DAY. Stop looking for E Z answers. The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary! And what I do here, I do for FREE. Remember that (or go pay some "genius.")
Read the Reminiscences of a Stock Operator before talking to me. My twits are my and my dog (RIP Nov. 2015) opinions, not advice. I am often wrong and I love it. PS: I DO NOT short single stocks and I do not answer 3x ETFs questions.
