$ATNF for anyone unfamiliar with POCD, I’ll educate you. There is not a surgeon out there that doesn’t warm family members that their elderly relative might not be the same after a big surgery. Whenever the elderly undergo these surgeries, there is a HUGE influx of inflammation that spreads across the whole body and once this inflammation reaches the brain, it has a nasty effect on them. A simple Anti-TNF shot prior to surgery could reduce the effects of this and would easily be backed by every surgeon as it would make their job and post-care that much easier. The pipeline shows a $3 billion addressable market but I think that is severely underrated. That seems to be accounting for just hip fractures, which is a massive surgery, but there are plenty others that fall into the category.
