$SU $SU.CA Globe says Suncor Energy reaffirmed at "outperform" The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Jan. 7, edition that after Credit Suisse raised its oil price forecast for the next two years on Thursday, analyst Manav Gupta increased his share target for Suncor Energy to $45 from $42. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $40.45. Mr. Gupta continues to rate the shares "outperform." He says in a note: "We see tighter supply-demand fundamentals in the near to medium term. While the current news cycle is focused on Omicron, we believe its impact on demand will be less than Delta variant as each successive iteration of the virus is less and less impactful to product demand.
