But seriously, Over 7k commercial aircraft need to be replaced over next 10 years. Who else can fill that requirement? Airbus is 1/10th of BA. They would need 3-5 years just to build facilities so they could start taking some of those orders.
The global economy is dependent on those planes. BA is literally too big to fail long term. They will eventually recover.
