Robinhood has about 20 million users vs SOFIs 2 million. They have about 81 billion is assets and also plan to go public via IPO (let the banks get in) vs the SPAC route. People are unhappy with the numbers but SOFI cannot compete with Robinhood’s ease of use, and easy acceptance, that’s literally why their user base grew so rapidly. Robinhood now has phone support and are updating their platform. I’m against the popular opinion that it will sell off horribly and be a bad investment. Too many events were supposed to be the end of Robinhood and nothing has stopped them so far, they’ve actually grown since then so I don’t see why things would just fall apart now I could be wrong but I doubt it.
