$TXMD Shares available to short remain low, 40K at the moment, and the borrow rate remains out of touch for retail short sellers with borrow rates around 60%. Nobody shorts a play, under those conditions, except MM's who use it as a tool to fill orders. This data indicates that the majority of SV is being generated by MM's using SV to fill orders and remain the ax. All short volume is, is the combination of all short selling and short covering, buying and selling, which MM's do all day long, to complete orders they see on the level 3's. We should see better price stability as long as short selling remains a costly and high risk strategy to every short seller worth their salt. When, or if, I see short availability increase and those borrow rates drop, I'll make decisions on my holdings. Until then, I'm locked in tight on what I have remaining.
