$ARVL it is not sellers at 1.68 it is short sellers. they really control the stock price. the whole float on arrival is 175 million shares. 100 million of those shares are likely owned by a couple of big funds, so we have 75 million shares that are really available for trading. the short sellers have a position of 50 million shares short, so they have increased the number of shares that are tradeable by 75%, to 125 million. the short seller game at this point is that the whole EV sector has been overvalued and that as the EV sector loses value, Arrival stock can be pushed down in unison with the stocks like Rivian. they just wait for a day EV stocks are tanking and push it down. So until a big buyer emerges, who is willing to just buy shares and force a short squeeze, the stock price can be controlled by the short sellers. the management at Arrival really need to get into conversations with big funds about buying into Arrival.
