$UBER I drive for both Uber and Lyft; a little over 6,000 trips over 18 months. I happen to much prefer Uber over Lyft; app, average net trip $ higher, more tips, consistently net $20.00 per hour. From my perspective, my corporate concerns are that neither company has moved beyond unprofitable, subsidized transactions. Therefore, projecting increased net unprofitable revenue will never lead to profit. Therefore, corporate profitability projections can have no meaning if the method and means to profit are not clearly defined.
