Ondas Acquires World View, Raises 2026 Outlook On Surging Defense Demand

Ondas is moving beyond drones. Its latest acquisition adds to its push into defense tech, while revised guidance signals aggressove growth ahead.

Ondas Inc. (ONDS) on Monday announced a definitive agreement to acquire World View Enterprises, Inc., a high-altitude balloon intelligence and stratospheric remote sensing company. The company also raised its outlook for 2026, projecting nearly sevenfold rise in revenue growth.

Ondas’ latest acquisition builds on a prior $10 million investment and partnership between the two firms, both of which share a vision for multi-domain intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.

Acquisition Expands ISR Capabilities

The acquisition will integrate World View’s stratospheric sensing expertise with Ondas’ autonomous aerial and ground systems to create a layered ISR platform spanning the stratosphere, air, and land.

Together, the companies aim to deliver detection, AI-enabled data fusion, and autonomous response. The partnership enhances Ondas’ capacity to support the Department of War, DHS, allied defense customers, and critical infrastructure operators worldwide.

Ondas stock traded over 1% higher on Monday morning. On Stockwits, retail sentiment around the stock shifted to ‘bullish’ from ‘neutral’ the previous day amid ‘normal’ message volume levels.

Revenue Growth And 2026 Targets

Ondas is raising its 2026 revenue forecast to at least $375 million, marking nearly a sevenfold increase from 2025 and more than doubling its prior guidance. 

For the first-quarter (Q1) 2026, the company expects revenues between $38 million and $40 million, representing an 820% year-over-year increase. Growth is anticipated to be fueled by Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS), with a backlog of $68.3 million and contributions from recently acquired firms. 

The company projects improving margins throughout 2026, aiming for product-level profitability by Q3 2026, OAS profitability by Q3 2027, and full company profitability by Q1 2028.

Q4 2025 revenue reached $30.1 million, a 629% YoY increase, surpassing the analysts' consensus estimate of $27.7 million, according to Fiscal AI data. Full-year 2025 revenue totaled $50.7 million, up 605% YoY. 

ONDS stock has gained over 3% year-to-date.
