Ondas is planning to industrialize drone production in Europe through a joint venture with Germany’s Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG and integrate its Iron Drone Raider and ISR platforms into Heidelberg’s extensive European manufacturing network.
The collaboration, named ONBERG Autonomous Systems, formalizes the December 2025 Memorandum of Understanding between the companies and involves HD Advanced Technologies GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of Heidelberg.
Industrial Expansion and Production Strategy
The venture is set to develop and deploy autonomous drone defense systems, initially targeting critical infrastructure and national security assets in Germany and Ukraine.
ONBERG plans to establish full-scale industrial operations in Germany, leveraging European supply chains for localized assembly and manufacturing. The Brandenburg an der Havel site will be upgraded as a center of excellence for autonomous defense systems, supporting high-volume production.

Ondas stock inched 0.1% lower on Wednesday morning. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the stock changed to ‘extremely bullish’ from ‘bullish’ territory the previous day amid ‘high’ message volume levels.
