VCI Global (VCIG) stated on Wednesday that it has taken a major step in Southeast Asia’s AI infrastructure market by officially launching Malaysia’s first Nvidia-powered AI GPU Computing Center through its subsidiary V Gallant Sdn Bhd.

The center went live on March 3, marking a milestone in the company’s transition to high-margin ownership of AI infrastructure and recurring revenue generation.

First-Mover Advantage in AI Compute

The operational facility provides an advantage to VCI Global in AI compute in Southeast Asia, catering to government, enterprise, and SME clients facing growing AI compute demands and strict data governance rules.

With the GPU Computing Center now fully operational, V Gallant is rolling out multiple commercial offerings. These include enterprise LLM training and fine-tuning, high-performance AI workload execution for sectors like finance, healthcare, logistics, energy, and government.

“As AI infrastructure becomes a strategic national and enterprise priority, the launch through V Gallant positions VCI Global at the forefront of Malaysia’s AI transformation for SME enterprises and government agencies.”

Following the announcement, VCI Global stock traded over 28% on Wednesday morning. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the stock reversed to ‘bullish’ from ‘extremely bearish’ territory the previous day. Message volume shifted to ‘extremely high’ from ‘high’ levels in 24 hours.

The Intelli-X platform ensures that sensitive government and enterprise data remain fully private through a zero-access architecture. Key features include secure document intelligence, predictive modeling, AI-assisted decision support, and workflow automation.
