FDA approved use of the T2Dx machine and T2 Bacteria panel in May, just over 6 months ago. 135,000 deaths since then. How many preventable deaths? The number can be inferred if we know the percentage decrease in sepsis deaths in the cohort of hospitals using T2Dx and T2B. After 6 months there should be a statistically valid number.
