NVIDIA Corp

Democratic gains in Congress have fueled concerns that tighter AI rules and data-center permitting could delay U.S. buildouts, weighing on Nvidia and other chip stocks. Traders are split between fears of weaker AI spending and capex concentration, and dip-buyers who argue that demand will persist and construction can shift elsewhere.

Micron Technology Inc

Micron is caught in a broader semiconductor selloff as traders worry that Democratic gains and calls for tighter AI oversight could slow data-center construction and weaken future memory demand; these are concerns, not confirmed project cancellations. The community is split between expecting further downside amid AI-spending and memory-cycle risks and viewing the drop as an overreaction because demand and Microns fundamentals remain intact.

It operates through the following segments: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL), and Qualcomm Strategic Initiatives (QSI). Qualcomm, Inc.

Qualcomms quarterly results are drawing attention: modest beats and revenue guidance above expectations are offset by a sharp handset-revenue decline, rising component costs and a slightly softer EPS outlook, prompting debate over whether growth in automotive, IoT and data centers can offset phone weakness. Traders are also weighing the new Starlink Mobile 5G supply deal as a potential diversification opportunity, though its revenue contribution is expected to emerge later.

Arm Holdings Plc.

Arms shares are sliding despite a quarterly beat, with traders focused on modest forward guidance and slower royalty growth as signs that results may not match high AI-related expectations; weakness across chip stocks is adding pressure. The community is split between optimism about data-center demand and Arms licensing strength and concern that recurring royalty growth and the stocks valuation do not justify expectations.

Applovin Corp

AppLovins record third-quarter results, stronger fourth-quarter outlook, and progress from its AI advertising models have driven a sharp rally, with the expanded buyback adding to bullish sentiment. Traders are celebrating the beat and speculating about a short squeeze, while others question whether the gains can hold given valuation concerns and the stocks recent volatility.

Super Micro Computer Inc

SMCIs strong quarterly results and raised outlook failed to prevent a sharp selloff, with traders focused on narrowing gross margins, dependence on a single large customer, and concerns about AI data-center spending. Bulls argue the growth outlook and AI demand remain compelling, while skeptics question whether that growth can translate into stronger margins and cash flow.

MoonLakes BLA filing for sonelokimab in hidradenitis suppurativa has put the FDAs review-acceptance and review-timeline decisions in focus. SOXLs steep decline is being tied to broad semiconductor selling and trader concerns that the Democratic midterm sweep could bring tighter scrutiny or delays for AI data centers, weighing on chip demand.
