Inox Wind announced that the 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on 29 September 2023.

The funds were raised by way of equity share sale of IWL by its promoter and promoter group entities through block deals on the stock exchanges. The funds will be utilized for the repayment of IWLs existing debt.Kailash Tarachandani, the CEO of Inox Wind, stated: The recent fundraising initiative led by IWLs promoters and the subsequent capital infusion significantly reinforces our financial strength and empowers us with enhanced flexibility for future growth endeavours.”Inox Wind is a fully integrated player in the wind energy market with three manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.The company had reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 36.80 crore in the quarter ended June 2023 as against net loss of Rs 67.80 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2022. Sales rose 65.51% to Rs 349.50 crore in Q1 FY24 over Q1 FY23.The scrip fell 1.44% to currently trade at Rs 195.60 on the BSE.

Inox Wind&nbsp;(IWL) today announced the infusion of Rs. 500 crore (before taxes and other charges) by its promoter and promoter group entities. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in IWLs journey towards financial sustainability. The funds were raised by way of equity share sale of IWL by its promoter and promoter group entities through block deals on the stock exchanges. The funds will be utilized for the repayment of IWLs existing debt.

Inox Wind announced that TUV SUD, a leading global certification body based in Germany, has granted a Type Certificate to Inox Wind for their state of the art, new generation 3 MW wind turbine with a booster capacity of up to 3.3 MW. This certification signifies that the prototype turbine has successfully met the necessary requirements for serial production and commissioning. TUV SUDs certification process included rigorous testing and verification in accordance with the internationally recognized standard, IEC 61400-22, and the Type Certificate issued is valid worldwide. Further, issuance of the Type Certificate confirms that the theoretical design calculations for Inox Winds 3 MW wind turbine reflects the expected behaviour of the turbines as measured on the field. Inox Winds 3 MW turbine, developed with globally renowned AMSC as the technology partner, features a 100 m tubular tower and 145 m rotor diameter one of the largest in its class. This wind turbine offers one of the lowest costs of energy on a per unit basis given its compact design, resulting in lower costs of production, transport & logistics as well as installation, thereby giving the company a sustainable edge in the Indian WTG market.
