Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, TGV Sraac Ltd and Central Bank of India are among the other gainers in the BSEs A group today, 18 September 2023.KIOCL Ltd soared 19.99% to Rs 314.55 at 11:45 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSEs A group. On the BSE, 2.02 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 54737 shares in the past one month.  Indian Overseas Bank surged 17.04% to Rs 46.23.  The stock was the  second biggest gainer in A group. On the BSE, 141.66 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 49.66 lakh shares in the past one month.  UCO Bank spiked 11.41% to Rs 45.03.  The stock was the  third biggest gainer in A group. On the BSE, 86.69 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 37.64 lakh shares in the past one month.  TGV Sraac Ltd jumped 10.17% to Rs 120.8.  The stock was the  fourth biggest gainer in A group. On the BSE, 17.14 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.63 lakh shares in the past one month.  Central Bank of India added 9.55% to Rs 51.52.  The stock was the  fifth biggest gainer in A group. On the BSE, 61.98 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 26.69 lakh shares in the past one month.

The announcement was made during market hours today.KIOCL is a flagship company under the Ministry of Steel, GOI, with Mini Ratna status. It is an export-oriented unit with expertise in iron ore mining, filtration technology and production of high-quality pellets. The company has also ventured into operating and maintenance (O&M) services for steel projects.The company had reported a net loss of Rs 58.04 crore in the quarter ended June 2023 as against net loss of Rs 43.78 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2022. Sales rose 36.90% to Rs 501.38 crore in Q1 FY24 over Q1 FY23.

On the BSE, over 0.60 lakh shares of the company had changed hands at the counter as against an average trading volume of 1126 shares in the past two weeks.The first project involves reconnaissance survey (G-4) for polymetallic mineralization in Nagavanda Gold & Base Metal Block in parts of Dhanvangere, Haveri and Shimoga District, Karnataka. The project duration is 12 months, and the approved cost is Rs 1.48 crore.The second contract involves preliminary exploration (G-3) for Amalgamated Kalburgi Limestone blocks in Jevargi area, District Kalburgi. The project duration is 12 months, and the approved cost is Rs 2.33 crore.KIOCL is a flagship company under the Ministry of Steel, GOI, with Mini Ratna status.
