Kirloskar Ferro Standalone September 2023 Net Sales at Rs 879.81 crore, down 22.38% Y-o-Y

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries (KFIL) announced that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), New Delhi, has granted approval to the Resolution Plan submitted by KFIL and approved earlier by the Committee of Creditors of Oliver Engineering.

According to a regulatory filing by Kirloskar Ferrous Industries, the plan was approved by an order dated September 12, which was received by the company on September 13.

The company said that replacement of top equipment with bell less top as well as other allied maintenance activities will result in improved operating efficiency of ‘Mini Blast Furnace – I. The expenditure for aforesaid activities was around Rs 50 crore (net of recoverable taxes) and the same has been financed fully by way of internal accruals.Kirloskar Ferrous Industries is one of Indias largest castings and pig iron manufacturers. The company caters to various industry sectors, such as tractors, automobiles and diesel engines.The firms consolidated net profit declined 20.9% to Rs 74.01 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 9.56 crore posted in Q1 FY23. Net sales increased 0.6% to Rs 1,502.47 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 1,493.82 crore in Q1 FY23.
