The board of Tega Industries has appointed Sharad Kumar Khaitan as the chief financial officer (CFO) of the company with effect from 10 July 2023. Khaitan is the president – finance & accounts of the company. He is a qualified chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience in financial controllership, business finance, financial planning & analysis, accounting, treasury, taxation, revenue assurance, internal audit, investor relations, and business strategy.He was previously associated with S.R. Batliboi & Co., ITC, and Atria Convergence Technologies.Tega Industries is engaged in the activity of designing, manufacturing and installation of process equipment and accessories to cater the mineral processing, mining, material handling and environment industries. The companys net profit jumped 58.04% to Rs 77.25 crore in Q4 FY23 as compared with Rs 48.88 crore in Q4 FY22. Revenue from operations increased 36.67% year on year to Rs 396.40 in Q4 FY23. Shares of Tega Industries jumped 3.07% to Rs 1047.85 on Monday, 10 July 2023.
