Transformers & Rectifiers India announced that an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company will be held on 6 October 2023 .

The Board of Transformers & Rectifiers India at its meeting held on 12 September 2023 has approved issuance of up to 1,00,00,011 equity shares of face value of Re 1 each at an issue price of Rs 120 per equity share for an aggregate Rs 120 crore on preferential basis through private placement to non-promoter category. The Board also approved issuance of 13.50% secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures up to 50 crore and zero coupon secured optionally convertible debentures up to 25 crore by way of preferential issue on private placement basis to non-promoter category.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 111.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 28.95 on 14 July, 2023 and 27 July, 2022, respectively.

Transformers Consolidated March 2023 Net Sales at Rs 433.75 crore, up 27.83% Y-o-Y

Transformers Standalone March 2023 Net Sales at Rs 425.47 crore, up 30.6% Y-o-Y

Transformers & Rectifiers India has been awarded order of Transformers for total contract value of Rs. 131 crore from one of the Central Utility. With this order, the companys order book as on date stands at Rs. 1822 crore.

As a result of this new contract, the companys current order book amounts to Rs 1691 crore.Transformers & Rectifiers (India) produces transformers for both domestic and international markets. In Q3 December 2022, the companys consolidated net profit rose 167.44% to Rs 13.80 crore, while net sales declined 1.98% to Rs 328.29 crore compared to the same period in 2021.The scrip advanced 0.33% to Rs 63.84 on the BSE.
