(ELSE) shares surged 75% on Tuesday, climbing to their highest level in over five years after a Germany-based industrial solutions firm agreed to acquire the company at a premium that exceeded 77%.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/ELSE">ELSE shares</a> also recorded their biggest intraday gains since Oct. 6, 2020.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Acquisition Offer At 77% Premium</h2>Under the terms of the agreement, Electro-Sensors’ shareholders will receive $7.75 per share in cash from Steute Technologies, representing a premium of around 77% to the stock’s closing price on Monday.The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
