$GALT 1. Early 2026 Summit Therapeutics requested increase in shares. Then announced a partnership in Sept with AstraZeneca for $2 bil (12% stake). They were in Phase 3 2. Early 2024, Novavax requested an increase in shares. In May 2024, before the meeting, company announced a $1.2 bil licensing agreement w/ Sanofi (4.9% stake). They were in Phase 2 3. In 2022, Horizon Therapeutics announced a meeting requesting an increase in shares. In Dec 2022 company acquired by Amgen for $27.8 bil. FDA approved drugs and multiple in Phase 1/Phase 2 4. Brickell Biotech scheduled meeting to vote on RS and increase in shares from 300 to 525 million in May 2022 . Before the meeting, a definitive purchase agreement by Botanix Pharmaceuticals. They were in Phase 3 5. Late 2022 CinCor Pharma sought out either issuance of new shares or execution of a dilutive secondary offering to fund ongoing trials. In January 2023, the company was acquired by AstraZeneca for $1.8 bil. They were in Phase 2 Is there more?

$GALT They're not lookking to partner, they're looking for a buyout. I was following some bread crumbs and dug this up, amended lease renewel terms, option to close their offices early.

$GALT I'm convinced there will be a buyout. Looking for golden parachutes, I see with this Omnibus increase proposal the execs will increase the last RSU from 4M to 7M, that's their parachute, no doubt to clear immediately on acquisition. The timing of this all is not coincidence, FDA alignment in June, submittal of abstracts to the liver conference on Nov 5, submittal of P3 protocol with 30 day turnaround time aligns perfectly.

$GALT FIGHT BACK AGAINST THESE PEOPLE SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION. In ts Q1 filing GALT said it currently did not have plans or funding to undertake another clinical trial and reiterated dependence on strategic partnerships and outside capital. The additional room for shares in today's filing is obviously for a strategic partner to buy-in. GALT is not going on a hiring spree to run p3 on their own, it will use the manpower of the big pharma partner. Connect the dots.

$GALT Assuming on September 30th, the Company has submitted a registrational protocol for the Phase 3 trial of belapectin for the prevention of disease progression in patients with MASH cirrhosis and portal hypertension to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). If everything is cleared, they may start Ph3 in November, 2026. Most of the time, the company has to hired more employees to prepare for ph3 study. But at this time, still have no openings and don’t have enough money to start ph3 by themselves? FDA green light 🚥 then announce partnership or BO? Pick your choice.

$GALT short term trend lines meet this Thursday, if we get disappointed yet again down to mid $2's may be in play. In the event of a pullback would like to see 200DMA ($3.30) hold. Expecting just a Phase 3 submittal PR. Hoping for partnership/BO, which hopefully comes at the same time...but may come in the days or weeks following Phase 3 PR. If we don't get anything at all, low $1's wouldn't surprise me. Retail is tired of getting the run around, investor sentiment is down, and the market being in the gutter does us no favors.

$GALT One has to take a step back and look at the overall landscape. The Journal of Hepatology has an article in press "EASL-EASD-ESMO guidance on the use of resmetirom and semaglutide in MASH targeted therapy." As stated in the abstract- "In adults with MASH cirrhosis, resmetirom or semaglutide appear safe but should not be used as MASH- targeted treatment until further data establish liver- related benefits." My opinion- unrelated to liver related benefits, safety for cirrhosis use is very unclear with these agents, as well as the FGF21 agents that were bought out by BP. I see no other new therapeutic agents for cirrhosis in the 2026 AASLD abstracts. I believe we stand alone. Good luck to all.

$GALT That phase 3 should be a confirmational outcomes trial with AA approved when the trial begins. Similar to what Madrigal did but using a hard clinical endpoint to fulfill subpart H and not a BS surrogate biopsy.

$GALT Step 1 = BTD. Breakthrough Therapy Designation gets Galectin more frequent/intensive FDA touchpoints and buys them the ability to negotiate what counts as an adequate AA endpoint before they file, rather than finding out at review. This is the same move Merck, BMS, etc. make before filing an oncology AA on a response-rate or PFS surrogate BTD doesn't approve anything, it changes who's in the room when the endpoint gets negotiated. Step 2 = the endpoint pitch. With that negotiating position, the filing becomes: "prevention of incident esophageal varices in compensated MASH cirrhosis without baseline varices" is the Subpart H endpoint. It was reached at p=0.04 in the pre-specified per-protocol population the one clean statistically significant result out of NAVIGATE, playing the same role a positive secondary/subgroup result plays in an oncology surrogate package.

$GALT That article from Harvard, in " Metabolism " Sept 2026, with the accompanying editorial, cited our Hepatology Belapectin paper. "Metabolism" is an a very high impact journal, ranked in the top 4 percent of all endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes journals).

$GALT submitting a study protocol to the FDA is not a material event they need to disclose. Most companies PR the fda response to the protocol. Nothing was missed. Do you guys want Joel to PR every email he sends out lol. 😂

$GALT When there is deal making with big pharma, things get -quieter- and then you wake up one morning to pleasant surprise news. When there is deal-making underway there is no PR every week. Some posters here don’t understand how it works.

$GALT Noticed that GALT's CMO, Khurram Jamil, MD has an unusually high number of followers, approx 7,769. I looked up Dr. Scott Friedman, the father of NASH, who has 6, 593, and the former CMO of SGMT, who has 4,914, and the current MDGL CMO, with 4,062. While this does not catalyze the share price, it reinforces that GALT has at least one highly connected and respected individual working behind the scenes.
