This launch marked the astonishing 400th drone ship landing, executed by SpaceX.On the very next day, another Falcon 9 rocket launched from the Kennedy Space Center with 28 Starlink satellites. This first stage, Booster 1067, also performed a drone ship landing.The booster had first taken off in June 2021, and on Thursday, it made its 30th flight, marking the first time a Falcon 9 rocket had reached this impressive milestone. Elon Musk’s Starlink Blasts Past 7 Million Customers, Tightens Grip On Satellite Internet

The company had added that the deal will boost its efforts to “maintain long-term leadership in advanced connectivity across 5G and fiber.”Later on Tuesday, Semafor <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.semafor.com/article/08/26/2025/echostar-musk-starlink-tmobile-spectrum">reported</a>, citing sources, that Elon Musk’s Starlink and T-Mobile have separately shown interest in buying some or all of the spectrum controlled by EchoStar.T-Mobile initially wanted to acquire nearly all of the frequencies under EchoStar's control and is still in discussions to purchase the remaining pieces that AT&amp;T didn’t acquire, according to the Semafor report, which cited people familiar with the matter.The company reportedly envisioned a three-way deal at one point that would have seen it and AT&amp;T split most of EchoStar’s spectrum. Elon Musk’s SpaceX delayed the launch of its mega-rocket Starship on Sunday for at least a day due to an issue with ground systems, in a fresh setback for the dominant space industry player.“Standing down from today's tenth flight of Starship to allow time to troubleshoot an issue with ground systems,” SpaceX said in an X post on Sunday evening. Starship was expected to take off shortly after 7.30 p.m. ET.At the time of writing, the company updated the launch timings of the Starship flight from 7:30 p.m. ET to 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday, without providing further details. SpaceX Delays Starship’s 10th Launch In Another Hiccup For Musk’s Mars Ambitions

Space42, an Abu Dhabi-based satellite broadband company, is looking to raise funds to expand its mapping initiative in Africa.According to a Bloomberg News<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-08-22/abu-dhabi-s-space42-plans-fundraising-to-take-on-musk-in-africa">&nbsp;report</a>, citing Space42 Chief Executive Officer Hasan Al Hosani, the firm is in talks with the African Union Development Agency and existing partners on the continent, including Microsoft Corp. and data center firm Esri, as well as other financial firms.However, he reportedly added that the conversations are in the early stages and the business doesn’t yet have a target for how much it will raise.The report stated that so far, the company, already backed by Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund, has started building out a physical presence and has connected schools and clinics in countries such as South Africa and Zimbabwe.The mapping initiative aims to provide detailed maps for all 54 African countries, which can be utilized for logistics, disaster response, and urban planning purposes. Space42 plans to sell the data to governments and ultimately make it available to businesses, the company has said.&nbsp;The company has so far sent eight satellites to space and plans to launch another three this year. They offer varying types of coverage in 150 countries in Africa, the Middle East, parts of Europe, and much of Asia.African governments are increasingly turning to satellite-based internet providers to enhance connectivity in remote areas lacking fiber internet infrastructure.
