The International Atomic Energy Agency on Tuesday confirmed that Iran’s nuclear enrichment facility at Natanz has sustained damage following the joint strikes by the United States and Israel.
The United Nations nuclear watchdog stated in a post on X that the entrance buildings of Iran’s underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP) have sustained some damage recently.
“No radiological consequence expected and no additional impact detected at FEP itself, which was severely damaged in the June conflict,” the agency said.
This comes after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran over the weekend. President Donald Trump stated in an address to reporters on Monday that the U.S. is prepared to do “whatever it takes” to achieve its objectives.

Israel Ramps Up Strikes On Iran
The Israeli military announced that it has begun bombing Iran’s capital, Tehran, as well as the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The strikes on Beirut began after Hezbollah announced that it was joining the war and launched missiles at Israel.
In response, Israel intercepted the missiles, sent troops into the south, and carried out air strikes.
“We're only at the border line area in a defensive manner to prevent attacks against civilians and very strategic important points," Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani said, according to a report by Reuters.
Trump Warns Iran It’s ‘Too Late’
In a post on Truth Social on Tuesday, President Donald Trump issued a warning to Iran that it’s “too late” for talks.
“Their air defense, Air Force, Navy, and Leadership is gone. They want to talk. I said ‘Too Late!’” he said in a post on Truth Social.
Meanwhile, U.S. equities declined in Tuesday’s pre-market trade. At the time of writing, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which tracks the S&P 500 index, was down 1.4%; the Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (QQQ) fell 1.86%; and the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA) declined 1.39%. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits regarding the S&P 500 ETF was in the ‘bearish’ territory.
