Carmaker Stellantis (STLA) has now become the latest automaker to gain access to rival Tesla Inc.’s (TSLA) supercharger network, aimed at easing the adoption of electric vehicles.
Stellantis said that starting Thursday, its battery electric vehicle owners can access Tesla’s nearly 27,500 supercharger locations in North America using an adapter that can be purchased at select dealerships.
Stellantis, which owns multiple brands, said that several of its vehicles can now use Tesla superchargers including certain model years of Dodge Charger Daytona, Jeep Wagoneer S, Jeep Recon, Ram ProMaster EV, FIAT 500e, Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, Maserati GranCabrio Folgore, and Maserati Grecale Folgore.

Tesla Supercharger Network
The Tesla supercharger network is meant to aid the adoption of electric vehicles worldwide. They are ideal for long distance travel and are designed to charge Tesla vehicles quickly so drivers can get back on the road. While it was initially limited to Tesla EVs, the EV giant opened it to rivals, starting with Ford Motor Co’s EVs in the U.S. in early 2024.
Other companies who have inked deals for their EVs to charge on the network include General Motors, Polestar, Rivian and Lucid.
Earlier this week, Tesla said the company has built the last of its V3 supercharger cabinets at its gigafactory in New York and is now gearing up to start production of its V4 cabinet at the factory. In addition to providing higher-watt charging on certain vehicles, V4 superchargers are also equipped with a longer cable to allow the Tesla supercharger network to charge rival electric vehicles.
