@Rseancronin wishful thinking. but if you go back and look at AGO financial guaranty acquisitions in the past, they seem to always close on the first day of a new quarter. I think it has something to do with statutory accounting and allocating the unearned premium reserve -- ie it makes the accounting much easier.
