A key takeaway from my call with WeRide last week was that their ADAS strategy should not be viewed as Bosch-exclusive. While Bosch is a critical integration, validation, and go-to-market partner, WeRide&#39;s autonomy software is designed to operate across multiple OEMs, compute platforms, and vehicle categories.   
  
That&#39;s an important distinction, as Bosch provides a powerful commercialization pathway, but it does not define the limits of WeRide&#39;s addressable market. Instead, WeRide appears to be positioning itself as an OEM-compatible autonomy platform capable of scaling across a broader ecosystem, while leveraging strategic partners such as Bosch to accelerate deployment and validation.  
  
For this reason, WeRide is positioned within Architecture 2: OEM-Compatible Autonomy Platforms. Its primary value proposition lies in behavioral autonomy software, deployment portability, and cross-platform compatibility.

Also, although my impression was WeRide would be shut out from the US market for Adas, it is not. Currently restrictions don&#39;t apply to level 2 Adas. That makes an entry into the US market, through Bosch or direct with OEMs, at least an optionality. Still, you got to weigh in  the China-US trade tensions.
