$SPY the 10-year minus 3-month treasury yield spread became uninverted back in December on Biden’s watch.  In all actuality it was the Fed that screwed up for lowering rates too early.  Trump will just expedite a recession due to his inflationary policies.  But I’d rather a quick hit than a slow fade in this BS economy post Covid. It was likely to happen regardless of who was president next

Now they are claiming a recession is near because the Trump administration wants to cut interest rates, despite inflation. The fact that the market has ignored every single bad piece of news since the end of 2022, gives a high probability (not certainty) that the recession narrative now is to shed light on all the bad economic data being hidden...and when it&#39;s revealed it&#39;s going to create a &quot;Shock &amp; Awe&quot; that will force the FED to lower interest rates, as economic conditions spiral out of control.  
 
The market is lagging with reality, because the truth has been skewed...and it&#39;s been all about the interest rate narrative.

Trump is fixing what biden broke.  You can&#39;t spend like a drunken sailor and expect to have a good economy, eventually it will collapse in a full fledged depression if you keep spending.  A good old 1 year recession will keep a depression from coming for a while at least.

Trump is fixing what biden broke.  You can't spend like a drunken sailor and expect to have a good economy, eventually it will collapse in a full fledged depression if you keep spending.  A good old 1 year recession will keep a depression from coming for a while at least.
