It employs the Scrypt algorithm to ensure the mining process remains fast and efficient, with new blocks processed every 60 seconds. A unique technical feature is its use of merged mining, allowing miners to secure Dogecoin simultaneously with other Scrypt-based networks like Litecoin.  To keep transaction fees low and the network running indefinitely, Dogecoin features an uncapped supply where new coins are added forever. In a major regulatory milestone in March 2026, a joint SEC and CFTC framework officially classified Dogecoin as a digital commodity, placing it in the same asset category as gold or oil.

To engage with the Worldcoin protocol, individuals must first download a first wallet app that supports the creation of a World ID. Users visit a physical imaging device called the Orb to get their World ID Orb-verified. Orbs are operated by a network of independent local businesses called Orb Operators. The Orb uses multispectral sensors to verify humanness and uniqueness to issue an Orb-verified World ID, with all images being promptly deleted on-device per default (absent explicit consent to Data Custody). All Orb-verified World IDs holders are entitled to claim recurring grants of free WLD tokens, subject to certain availability restrictions. The WLD token is designed as a utility token with governance properties.

Sui offers several advanced tools including zkLogin for easier account access and sponsored transactions that allow users to interact with apps without managing complex wallets or immediate fees. Developers can also create tailored object types that work across the entire network, which encourages innovation and deep composability. These features are designed to create a more user-friendly experience for interacting with decentralized applications and digital games.  The SUI token is central to the ecosystem, serving as the primary asset for transaction fees and on-chain utility within decentralized exchanges and lending platforms. Users participate in a proof-of-stake mechanism by locking their tokens to support validators and secure the blockchain in exchange for rewards. Additionally, token holders have a role in governance, allowing them to participate in voting on network rules and future protocol upgrades.
