SPACE SPACs 🌟

Over a year ago, Virgin Galactic propelled SPACs to all-star status. 💫 Now, newer SPACs attempt to one-up $SPCE. 

Planet Labs struck a deal today with dMY Technology Group IV, valuing the satellite network at $2.8B. The announcement comes just after Cantor Fitzgerald’s CF Acquisition Corp picked up another satellite company for $1.1B.

$DMYQ and $CFV are the latest SPACs enticing space-related mergers— they’re following in $VACQ’s, $SRAC’s, and others’ footsteps. 

The space-SPAC thing has been a trend all year. In January, Astra Space announced its agreement with the Holicity SPAC after ARK Invest filed for its $ARKX Space Exploration Fund. When $HOL rolled into $ASTR last week, it blasted 34%.

The upshot? SPACs know about investors’ love of outer space. Keep an eye out for star-bound SPACs and stocks. 🚀

A Coinbase listing is a proud moment for most coins. To investors, the exchange represents widespread coin approval…  

But now, Coinbase wants to change its stance and list as many cryptocurrencies as possible. 

In June, CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted about listing every possible legal asset— naturally, a flood of new coins are listed, and they’re hitting all-time highs. 

For example, $COIN recently listed BarnBridge, Livepeer and Quant. Prices rallied 125%. 💸 Similarly, $AMP.X (Flexa’s in-house crypto token) jumped a record 1700% in 2021. 

Coinbase’s motive? Investors want to learn more about crypto. If Coinbase can’t provide variety, investors will switch exchanges. The company currently offers 70 currencies in the US, with Armstrong aiming to add 100 more. 

$COIN was up 7.04% today. 😤

Over a month after Newegg (the tech e-commerce company) went public via reverse-merger, it’s been on a sprint 🏃‍♀️— the company is now worth a cool $25B.

Newegg grew its reputation among tech nerds and PC-builders, launching an expansion of its “PC builder” tool. Nowadays, the tool’s a little more than modest. 

Newegg allows customers to customize and build PCs online. Just pay $99 for assembly, and Newegg will build/ship your custom computer. You can also opt for pre-builts assembled by the Newegg team. 🤖 🖥️

What’s so special about $NEGG? Shipping doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, for starters. And Newegg’s turnaround time is way faster than competitors’. Oh, and rumor has it the company holds an exclusive stock of “rare computer components.” 

$NEGG shares shot +148% today, bringing Newegg’s 5-day gains over 522%. 💪

Does crypto even surprise us anymore? Payments giant Visa just reported over a billion dollars spent in 2021 with its crypto-linked cards. 

Each day, the number of card users explodes as users buy and sell digital assets. Visa allows clients to convert and pay with digital assets at 70M+ worldwide merchants.

Visa gets the trend, which is why it enabled transactions with USD Coin on its payment network in March. But unlike Tesla, Visa doesn’t plan to hold cryptocurrencies. Instead, the company aims to generate a user-friendly crypto ecosystem. ❤️
