The Stocktwits Top 25 S&P 500 Momentum Meter ripped 3.61% and the S&P 500 improved 0.51%. The 3.10% differential in favor of the top stocks shows the full index continues to lag.

O O O O’Reilly…Auto Parts ascended to all-time highs in Week 38. $ORLY was the list’s biggest gainer.
Adobe Inc decreased 4.85% after reporting third quarter earnings. Check it out on the Sinners list.
LuluLemon was the only Freshman.
The ST Top 25 Nasdaq 100 Momentum Meter increased 0.68% in Week 38 while the full Nasdaq 100 dipped 0.02%. The 0.70% difference shows the top stocks continue to surpass the full index.

The ST Top 25 R2K List was hit or miss. A few rippers and a few dippers.
11 of 25 stocks finished positive.
$DVAX soared 33.2% and was the top-performing stock. Dynavax Technologies is a Winner below.
$BTU got butchered 🐷. The stock tumbled 11.9% and earned itself a spot on the Sinners list.
Dynavax Technologies and Anavex Life Sciences are the list’s Freshmen.
The ST Top 25 R2K Momentum Meter spiked 3.59% while the Russell 2000 index increased 0.50%. The 3.09% differential in favor of the top stocks indicates that the full index underperformed.

The ST Top 25 Top Dawg for Week 38, 2021 is #9 R2K – Dynavax Technologies.
Dynavax vaulted 33.2% in Week 38. It was the biggest Winner on all three lists. The biotech debuted on the ST Top 25 R2K List as a Freshman ranked #9.
$DVAX soared 26.45% on Wednesday after the biotech announced encouraging findings for its COVID-19 vaccine candidate with China’s Clover Biopharmaceuticals.
The company stated:
“100% efficacy against severe COVID-19 and hospitalizations, and 84% efficacy against moderate-to-severe COVID-19 caused by any strain of SARS-CoV-2”

△ #25 N100 – Lululemon leaped onto the ST Top 25 S&P 500 List as a Freshman in Week 38. $LULU sprang 1.42% and settled in the #25 spot.
The athletic apparel company retailer sits a few bucks below its earnings high set on Sept. 9. Can $LULU break the highs and trade into blue skies? Time will tell…

△ #2 R2K – Cassava Sciences scooted 3% and firmly cemented itself in the second ranking behind AMC Entertainment.
Cassava released top-line clinical findings from a pre-planned interim analysis of an ongoing open-label research with the company’s drug candidate simufilam in patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease on Tuesday.
Remi Barbier, President & CEO of Cassava said:
“I feel energized and encouraged by the clinical data. We look forward to the initiation of a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pivotal Phase 3 clinical program with simufilam in people with Alzheimer’s disease.”

△ #3 S&P 500 – Devon Energy ate up the competition in Week 38. The energy company moved three rankings higher (from #6 to #3) and was the strongest performer on the ST Top 25 S&P 500 List.
$DVN went on a tear from Wednesday through Friday as oil prices rose. The stock accelerated 16.2% in that time period and now sits at two year highs. 💪

▼ #24 N100 – Adobe Inc tanked 4.85% in Week 38 and fell five spots from number nineteen to twenty-four on the ST Top 25 N100 List.
$ADBE decreased 3% on Wednesday after announcing Q3 earnings and revenue.

▼ #5 R2K – Peabody Energy was the ST Top 25 R2K List’s biggest loser, leaking 11.9%.
$BTU was down for its second straight week. The coal company dropped 22.4% in Week 37 and plunged another 11.9% this week.
