Up: risk on 
Down: risk off 
 
 
below -1.5: risk-off warning signal. 
below -2.0: confirmation. 
 
Needless to say the steep troughs are bad markets.

I did it! The last piece is credit risk. I still need to backtest it and then integrate it into the master model, but I’m curious and would appreciate your help validating the results. 
 
“1” is the neutral line (not 0). 
Up = risk-on 
Down = risk-off 
 
Today it dropped 0.0735% vs. yesterday, so it tilted a bit risk-off. But based on where the reading sits right now at 1.03, we’re still essentially neutral, and there’s no sign of credit distress.
