Ripple was originally founded by a single company, Ripple Labs, and continues to be backed by it, rather than the larger network of developers that continue bitcoin’s development. It also doesn’t have a fluctuating amount of its currency in existence. Where bitcoin has a continually growing pool with an eventual maximum, and Ethereum theoretically has no limit, Ripple was created with all of its 100 billion XRP tokens right out of the gate. That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense. $TSLA Conference Call Summary: We have the building blocks in place for the next phase of the company, and that phase is to help create an age of abundance where there is no shortage of goods and services, and anyone can have pretty much anything they want.  So it’s a wild, wild future, and we’re ahead of the pool. Optimus is the most advanced humanoid robot in the world.  It is already working in our factory, and we expect to have production one early next year, which will produce Optimus for all of our factories by the end of next year.  Production two will be for customers, likely in 2026. The long-term value of Optimus will exceed that of everything else Tesla does combined because everyone in the world will want one, and that doesn’t even include industrial use.   
 
Optimus is just part of our main focus going forward, which is autonomy.  We are making great progress with FSD and most don’t know just how good FDS is. You should try it out.  This will be a massive demand driver.  You’ll know more about FSD when we unveil RoboTaxi, which has been pushed out to 10/10. We pushed this out to make some improvements, and we want to unveil some other things. We are in talks with a few OEMs about licensing, and likely more later, but we know that GM’s technology isn’t going to cut it. Once we roll out FSD, every Tesla out there becomes a taxi that will work for you while you sleep or do something else. Currently, all of this learning for autonomy takes processing, and Nvidia’s GPUs are quite impressive, but we can’t get our hands on enough, and they can charge whatever they want, so we have no choice but to go forward to make Dojo work.   
 
In the meantime, we are still an EV maker, even though that is just noise at this point. We’ve had a lot of other EV makers enter the market.  They haven’t done very well, but they are lowering their prices.  In the long term, we don’t see this as an issue, but it does limit margins. If the tax credits go away, why would anyone buy their cars? So that would help us. In addition, we are making it easier to get a Tesla with very competitive financing around the world, which should help next quarter, too.  Plus, next year, we are going to introduce a more affordable EV, but don’t worry, the Roadster is coming, too. It will be really special.
