According to a Bloomberg report, citing people with knowledge of the matter, Apple is planning the change as part of upgrades to Siri in the upcoming iOS 27 update.
The tech company is working on new tools that will allow AI chatbot apps to be installed on the iPhone via the App Store, which will integrate with Siri, as per the report.
