$AES my hunch here is that Blackrock has been actively buying shares on the open market in recent weeks which is pushing the price up.... they&#39;re accumulating in the $15&#39;s, $16&#39;s and soon to be $17&#39;s before making an offer in the mid $20&#39;s. It pretty much allows them to pay a lower average share price and make AES a greater offer for the remaining shares they don&#39;t own.
