The EIP-1559 upgrade introduced a dynamic base fee mechanism that burns ETH with each transaction, creating deflationary pressure during high network activity when more ETH is burned than issued to validators.  Vitalik Buterin proposed Ethereum in 2013, but seven co-founders helped build it, including Gavin Wood who created Solidity and the EVM technical specification, and Joseph Lubin who founded ConsenSys. The project launched in July 2015 after raising over $18 million through crowdfunding, quickly becoming the largest blockchain developer community. Major milestones include the 2020 Beacon Chain launch, the 2021 London hard fork implementing fee burning, and the 2022 Merge to Proof of Stake. $CONY I sold all positions in the $NVDY &amp; $DIPS holdings after Yieldmax posted their weekly dividends for these pieces of shit ETFs. They are paying out well under half of what the other inverted pairs are paying so I&#39;ll realign tomorrow at the dividend dips in the others. I&#39;m also going to spend some research time looking around at some other hi-yield dividend paying companies to see if it might be more beneficial to invest elsewhere.

I simply don&#39;t plan to have 4 funds out of 12 pay substantially lower dividends when the options trades had no significant differences and the majority of these funds are actually holding the exact same percentages in treasury bonds. So..I&#39;m dumping the 4 funds for that reason. I&#39;ll net a better dividend payout in the 8 remaining funds is all.

I was about to add more to our share count in this, but after reading your posts, and since you are someone whose opinion I trust, I&#39;m going to hold off for a bit to see how the weekly payments play out before I add more cash to this one. While I&#39;m still going to remain invested in the ETF&#39;s that Yieldmax offers, your words are sparking in my own thoughts, being overall cautious about investing more. Though to be fair, each of us that are more experienced money managers should&#39;ve been thinking that this gravy train can&#39;t have lasted forever, and people getting mad and trashing on Yieldmax isn&#39;t realistic (especially when they have paid us so well over the last two years). Everyone is welcome to their own opinion here, of course. @beckinvestllc This may be one of the best responses I have seen in a while. Pure common sense to me. I am still a fan of Yieldmax. I was just surprised when I computed out the dividends on Yieldmax&#39;s release how small the amounts were for QDTY, YQQQ, NVDY &amp; DIPS compared to all of the other inverted ETF&#39;s. My method was simple...I know my total balance. I divided the balance by each ETFs share price to get an exaggerated share count, then multiplied the listed dividends. I assumed the totals would all be similar, but these 4 were off by a lot. NVDY and DIPS would be paying about 1/2 of what the rest would be paying and QTYY and YQQQ would be paying 1/4th of what to other pairs would be paying. Knowing the dividend reduction would be today, I simply sold out of them yesterday. I&#39;ll reapply the money back into the other 8 tomorrow. I do this evaluation every week. Works for me. I just prefer the bigger payouts. I adjust for the div deducts anyway when I rebalance.

@Darko85 LOL...my views never changed at all. What changed was the YieldMax dividend amounts. YieldMax was kind enough to post it on their  news release and I simply did the math. Why take 50 to 75% less in dividends in 4 ETFs  when I lose nothing by moving the money to better paying inverted paired ETFs. That has always been my views.
