@bernardbaruch im a bit more cautiously optimistic at the moment. I would have expected to see the short position start to decrease after being added to the russell. I suppose as long as cash is low they are going to stick around. Need real news or we might be sideways for a bit.

@bernardbaruch i expected a bit more of a short squeeze yesterday, and the day before and the day before and the day before…lol…been pretty illusive. I think we need a real (not same stuff) update on enrollment, open arm, interim, etc before we get any real movement….

@Gulfoil Given corporate governance vulnerabilities it is not inconceivable that some of the short interest has been sold against long positions therefore rendering it benign.

@bernardbaruch why establish a net 0 gain/loss when the cost to borrow is very high. I think its unlikely a short position is established to offset a long position in the same equity. Possible…unlikely

@Gulfoil it would be highly unusual. Wouldn’t even cross my mind with vast majority of companies. No tutes, no stock pickers. Thin on corporate governance. At best.
I can see how something like that could unfold. Not a prediction. Agreed …. Unlikely. Very very unlikely.
Still, I’m gonna watch. Hopefully watch you and Brandon and especially all the puppy dog retail speculators end up in the triple figures ++.
