Traditional materials like drywall or MDF warp, swell, and grow mold if exposed to rain during construction. Because NexBoard absorbs virtually no water (only 3.47% compared to drywall&#39;s 25–35%) and scored a perfect 10 on mold resistance tests, contractors can leave it completely exposed to the elements during a build. This means weather delays will no longer stall project timelines.  
4. Exponential Volume Growth per Project 
For Xeriant and its distributors, a successful evaluation means a single customer&#39;s order volume could instantly quadruple. A builder who originally intended to buy NexBoard only for interior walls will begin buying it for walls, ceilings, subflooring, and exterior sheathing on every home.

@Hammer562 Where are they going to manufacture it? Do they have a factory capable enough to handle the orders? I think they may sell licenses to manufacture it to some of these homebuilders, at least initially.

@rambo222 The good news is, NexBoard uses standard tools and procedures, carpenters can install it on day one. However, In the building industry, the established network of manufacturers, distributors, and contractors is a deeply entrenched system. When you introduce a new material, you disrupt this established flow.
So, yes, there will be several major hurdles.

@rambo222 Short term, Xeriant is using third-party contract manufacturing facilities rather than building its own multi-million dollar factories from scratch. They have paired up with regional manufacturing entities (including compounding partnerships with entities like TMF Corporation.

Xeriant completed there agreement with TMF, (this agreement was only during the testing phase), and hired TMF&#39;s executive vice president, Tom Fitzgerald Jr., to head up its own newly formed manufacturing subsidiary, BlueGreen Composites, to commercialize NexBoard independently.
