The Cosmos network consists of many independent, parallel blockchains, called zones, each powered by classical Byzantine fault-tolerant (BFT) consensus protocols like Tendermint. The fee may be proportional to the amount of computation required by the transaction, similar to Ethereum’s concept of “gas”. Fee distribution is done in-protocol and a protocol specification is described here.  As staking tokens, ATOM can be “bonded” in order to earn block rewards. The economic security of the Cosmos Hub is a function of the amount of ATOM staked. The more ATOM that are collateralized, the more “skin” there is at stake and the higher the cost of attacking the network. Thus, the more ATOM there are bonded, the greater the economic security of the network.  Atom holders may govern the Cosmos Hub by voting on proposals with their staked ATOM.

Reading through the key requirements of qualifying for NASDAQ listing there are several qualifiers that WKSP did not meet at the time of applying. Using only what information I have I would surmise the application process has an element of subjectivity. Assuming Rossi thought that being listed would bring a higher level of investment exposure which is general the case. In fact it hurt his case, jumping from the OCT brought more critique from seasoned investors. Investment dried up in other words, followd by two R/S, massive dillution,  etc. We all know the story that follows, keep moving the goal post, generate uninformed investors...

@V8Yankee   Worksport took the same path to Nasdaq in 2021 that dozens of companies took.  The years 2020-2022 were like the Wild West for small, OTC companies to uplist to Nasdaq.  Listing standards were lowered, capital was cheap, and investor risk-appetites were off the chart.   Many companies were able to raise significant amounts of money and uplist to Nasdaq.  WKSP used Reg A offerings which required much less scrutiny from a banker, and aggressive projections about the size of the market they were moving into to attract investor cash.  It wasn&#39;t a bad story.  But the relatively easy money they raised made them undisciplined and unfocused, imho.  Instead of focusing on a niche market (tonneau covers) they imagined themselves as a &quot;clean energy think tank.&quot;  Yes, they actually had that on their website at one point.   Space age names like &quot;Solis&quot; followed.  They even spent $ on hydrogen fuel stations.  Just all over the place.
