symbol logo$GRRR Q4 '24 Earnings Results & Recap Gorilla Technology's Q4 '24 earnings showed actual EPS far exceeding estimates, while revenue reached $74.67M surpassing estimates of $30.54M. The company projects $100M-$110M revenue in 2025, based on a sizable backlog, but faces challenges with the conversion of large pipeline contracts to realized revenue.

Is it funded backlog? Deposits? I've seen this before. Smart city contractor in Europe signing customers that no one knows to billion dollar contracts. Ok If I was gonna build a smart city I would probably use like a HoneyWell or some multi billion dollar company. Just sayin. Doesn't pass the smell test for me

how is backlog bearish? The sole definition of backlog is revenue to be earned in the future. High backlog is a good thing if your revenue is still increasing.

the companies large backlog is not realized revenue. No backlog is realized revenue. That’s what backlog is. Am I missing something?

There is no "Bearish" take on a company with $multi-billion contracts on the table with more in the works. A "sizable backlog" isn't a negative; "unrealized" cash isn't a downside and "a few key clients" with very deep pockets doesn't indicate weakness.

Seems like the task was to enter “something bearish” into the form of this post… and the best they could come up with was “the backlog hasn’t been realized yet.” Almost funny. I mean, that’s the nature of a backlog. However, the key difference between a backlog and a pipeline is that the backlog already includes due payments for delivered services, clear milestones, and binding commitments. The criticism of Q4 2024 growth is countered by a backlog of over $110M and a $6 billion pipeline — not much more needs to be said about that. Customer diversification, by the way, isn’t an “effort” anymore — it’s already reality in 2025 (e.g., Egypt accounts for less than 30%, and in 2026, less than 15%). So… if that’s the bearish part, things couldn’t be looking much better for GRRR.
