  • The new agreement will see the deployment of an additional 20,736 B300 GPU cards, in addition to more than 5,000 GPUs from an earlier deal.
  • Gorilla previously expected the project to generate more than $500 million in revenue over the next five years.
  • This builds on Gorilla Technology’s $1.4 billion tie-up with Singapore-based Freyr to build AI-powered data centers across Southeast Asia.

Shares of Gorilla Technology Group Inc. (GRRR) climbed more than 4% on Wednesday as investors cheered a major expansion of its partnership with Yotta Data Services, doubling down on India’s fast-growing AI infrastructure market in a deal worth about $2.8 billion.

This builds on a previously announced partnership between the companies to deploy AI infrastructure in the South Asian country, including about 640 high-performance Nvidia servers with over 5,000 GPUs. Gorilla expected the project to generate more than $500 million in revenue over the next five years.

What Does The Expanded Deal Involve?

The new agreement covers the deployment of an additional 20,736 B300 GPU cards, which are expected to be delivered by Sept. 30, 2026. The project also involves Nvidia, which is expected to account for roughly half of the capacity under a four-year commitment tied to a major Nvidia DGX Cloud cluster in the region.

“This is another major step forward for Gorilla in India and a very clear demonstration that our AI infrastructure strategy is translating into real scale, real deployments, and real commercial value. Yotta is building one of the largest and most important AI Compute platforms in the APAC (Asia Pacific) region, and we are excited to support that journey,” said Jay Chandan, Chairman & CEO of Gorilla Technology.

Earlier this year, Gorilla said its partnership with India-based Yotta aims to expand into other Asian markets, with Thailand seen as a potential target.
