“The Trump Administration is committed to winning the AI race to usher in a new era of human flourishing, economic competitiveness, and national security for the American people,” the White House stated, adding that achieving these goals requires a framework that enables American industry to innovate and thrive, while allowing Americans to benefit from this technology.

The six-pronged approach taken by the Trump administration in the AI framework centers on protecting children, communities, intellectual property rights, and free speech, while enabling innovation and developing an AI-ready workforce.
