Shares of NN Inc. (NNBR) recorded their best single-day gains since April 2020 after the company announced it has secured an additional 2026 immediate-supply awards for liquid-cooling products used in NVIDIA AI data centers.

NN said that Monday’s announcement of new awards adds to its previous orders and increases the size of its liquid cooling portfolio for AI data center racks. The company also stated that it is on track to make the data center and Electric Grid business segment its largest business by sales.

At the time of writing, NNBR stock was up over 45% on Monday.

NNBR Aims To Pivot From Commodity Auto Products

Harold Bevis, President and Chief Executive Officer at NN, stated that NN is now underway with procuring an additional 30 new machine centers on top of the 17 new CNC machine centers it previously announced. “Additionally, we have successfully repurposed and retooled five automotive CNC production centers to become dedicated data center production,” he said. 

“We have a strategic goal to rotate out of commodity auto products, and this accelerates the achievement of that objective.”

Bevis also added that the company has tripled the size of the liquid-cooling product line that was launched in the first quarter of 2026.

The company plans to grow its data center products. It is expanding and ramping up its product offerings during the current quarter, which will bolster its 2026 sales, the firm noted.

Bevis also said that the 47 new machines will be added to the company’s Wuxi, China, facility, and it will supply parts to NVIDIA's Asia supply chain in China, Taiwan and Vietnam.

“We believe these data center racks, which are being produced in Asia, are coming back to the US and being installed in data centers being built in the United States AI market,” said Bevis.
