ACC starts commercial production of clinker in MPCapital Market • 3 months agoThe Ametha integrated cement plant has a clinker capacity of 3.3 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and a cement capacity of 1 MTPA. This greenfield integrated project will help in lowest cost production of clinker and cement, which will enhance ACCs overall portfolio to 37 MTPA and aid in the overall improvement in profitability and market share of the company, said the firm.“Ametha plants strategic location in Madhya Pradesh offers a logistical advantage, which will enhance ACCs ability to cater to critical markets efficiently. This ESG compliant plant will exemplify ACCs commitment to environmental responsibility with 16.3 MW of WHRS capacity and up to 15% of AFR potential, exemplifying ACCs dedication to environmental stewardship,” the company stated in the press release. ACC has 16 cement manufacturing sites, over 85 concrete plants and a nationwide network of channel partners to serve its customers.The cement manufacturer reported 105.29% surge in net profit to Rs 466 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 227.32 crore in Q1 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped 16.41% Rs 5,201 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 4,468.42 crore posted in the same quarter last year.Shares of ACC were down 0.01% to Rs 2,062.50 on the BSE.
