The company added that this will help it accelerate its commercialization timeline.TC BioPharm and CytoMed are both clinical-stage biopharmaceutical companies engaged in the research and development of donor-derived allogeneic gamma delta T cells for cancer treatment. While TC BioPharm has completed an early-stage clinical trial, CytoMed is currently conducting an early-stage trial in Singapore, evaluating its chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells for a broad range of liquid and solid cancers.The proposed acquisition will be funded by internal resources, the Singapore-based CytoMed said. Shares of the company traded 19% higher at the time of writing.
