$NVO earning likely irrelevant mid term unless big loss which I doubt. But market is sensing mgt not delusional about lackluster pipeline and just trying to buy time. It is obvious novo will not remain #2 beyond 2030 with the status quo.. I share the market hunch that novo will get over its insecurity from previous trials busts and see obvious mechanisms and data for a deal that will make it fairly face $LLY like the old days. $VKTX

Novo Nordisk said its next-generation obesity drug CagriSema delivered an average 25% weight loss after 68 weeks among women with overweight or obesity, versus 3% with placebo, according to a post-trial analysis of approximately 2,300 women. A separate analysis of around 1,900 women found weight reductions of 26.7% in premenopausal, 24.8% in perimenopausal and 23.1% in postmenopausal patients, compared with about 2% for placebo across all groups. CagriSema also reduced abdominal fat across menopause stages. The results assume patients remained on treatment without interruptions and require further confirmation. In the broader Phase 3 trial, the drug produced average weight loss of 22.7% at 68 weeks versus 2.3% with placebo. CagriSema combines semaglutide, the active ingredient in Wegovy and Ozempic, with cagrilintide, which targets the amylin pathway involved in hunger and fullness. $NVO

$NVO Novo had previously promised to launch the Wegovy pill in 20 countries in 2027, but now they have changed their plans and promised that the launch will be completed as early as the first half of 202! that’s something new! Novo is picking up the pace and taking a more aggressive approach. It wants to capture new markets faster and more effectively. Definately a better execution as CEO has talked about. Execution is everything. Novo has the first mover advantage and a pill for obesity which is better and cheaper than competitors.
