(MSFT), Alphabet Inc.’s (GOOG, GOOGL) Google, Amazon.com Inc.’s (AMZN) AWS, and Reflection.“Access to a diverse suite of AI capabilities from across the resilient American technology stack will give warfighters the tools they need to act with confidence and safeguard the nation against any threat,” the Pentagon stated.Michael added that the DoW will take each model from these companies for its strengths and use it for the use cases it is best suited for.“Each of these models is trained on somewhat different data. If you look at Google, they have email, YouTube, Nest cameras, and they have different sorts of capabilities. Pentagon CTO Calls Anthropic’s Mythos A ‘National Security Moment,’ Strikes AI Deals With Nvidia, SpaceX, Others

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>The S&amp;P index provider is also considering changes to profitability and liquidity requirements for large companies to become eligible for inclusion.</li><li>It is joining similar moves proposed by the Nasdaq and FTSE Russell earlier this year.</li><li>The move comes ahead of massive IPOs by SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic, projected to raise over $240 billion combined.</li></ul>S&amp;P Dow Jones Indices announced on Thursday that it has launched a consultation on potential rule changes that could speed up the inclusion of mega-cap public listings into its flagship indexes, following similar moves by the Nasdaq and FTSE Russell.Among the most pertinent changes proposed, the rule change would halve the minimum required public listing period to become eligible for index listing, from the current 12 months to 6 months.The move comes ahead of initial public offerings (IPOs) by large companies like SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic PBC, which are eyeing public listings later this year.<h2 class="st-heading-2">S&amp;P Inclusion Proposed Changes</h2>Apart from changes to the time period, the index provider is also considering changes to the profitability and liquidity requirements for large companies to become eligible for inclusion.As per the statement, the index provider is weighing the possibility that mega-cap companies may not meet the minimum investable weight factor eligibility requirement, which currently requires a public float of at least 10%.Additionally, companies that meet the mega-cap definition may be exempt from the financial viability criteria, meaning they could be included even if they do not post positive net income from operations.The consultation period is open until May 28, the index provider said, adding that if the changes are approved, the new rules are likely to take effect before the market opens on June 8, unless otherwise announced.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nasdaq, Russell Changes</h2><a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/NDAQ">Nasdaq’s</a> overhaul to fast-track entry to the Nasdaq 100 index will take effect on May 1. The new inclusion rules will allow newly listed mega-cap companies to join the index after just 15 trading days, rather than waiting months.Meanwhile, FTSE Russell proposed shortening an IPO’s waiting period to five trading days. While the consultation wrapped up earlier this month, final changes are yet to be announced.<h2 class="st-heading-2">How Does It Impact Markets?</h2>Later this year, SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic are poised for a massive IPO wave that is projected to raise over $240 billion combined, potentially reshaping market liquidity. SpaceX is targeting a valuation of more than $2 trillion, while both OpenAI and Anthropic are vying for listings at valuations over $1 trillion each.“This means when/if SpaceX IPOs, the company could be added to the S&amp;P 500 as soon as 6 months after it IPOs, potentially triggering hundreds of dollars billions of dollars of forced buying upon index inclusion,” said Tesla investor and influencer Sawyer Merritt in a <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://x.com/search?q=S%26P%20500&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live&amp;pf=on">post</a> on X about the proposed changes to the S&amp;P indexes.Meanwhile, U.S. stock indexes are soaring this month, with the S&amp;P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indexes <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/dow-sp500-nasdaq-futures-climb-on-tech-earnings-optimism/cZQNYHvReIi">posting record highs</a> on Thursday. S&P Joins Nasdaq, Russell In Push To Speed Index Entry For Mega IPOs Ahead Of SpaceX, OpenAI Listings

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Nadella&nbsp;cited three reasons why&nbsp;Microsoft is in a comfortable spot.</li><li>OpenAI and Microsoft announced an amended agreement earlier this week.&nbsp;</li><li>Amazon said that OpenAI’s GPT-5.4 is available on Amazon Web Services, with GPT-5.5 expected to arrive in the coming weeks.</li></ul>Microsoft Corp.’s management struck an upbeat tone on its recently revamped partnership with OpenAI, even as Amazon said it would offer the AI firm’s flagship models on its cloud platform for customers.“We've all evolved the partnership, but I feel very good about where we are,” CEO Satya Nadella said on Microsoft’s analyst call on Wednesday. “It starts with, quite frankly, IP... We have a frontier model royalty-free with all the IP rights that we will have access to all the way to '32 and we fully plan to exploit it."Earlier this week, Microsoft and OpenAI announced a revamped deal that allows OpenAI to sell its products on any cloud provider, a freedom it has long sought, though Microsoft will continue to use them through 2032.&nbsp;As part of the updated agreement, OpenAI will continue to share revenue with Microsoft until 2030, albeit with new caps, but Microsoft will no longer pay a revenue share to OpenAI.&nbsp;Microsoft is a significant investor – and one of the earliest – in OpenAI and was, until recently, its exclusive cloud vendor. When OpenAI&nbsp;converted its structure last October, Microsoft said it acquired a 27% stake in the for-profit venture and an incremental $250 billion purchase commitment from OpenAI for Azure services.“The second part, of course, is them as a customer of ours, they're a large customer of ours, not just on the AI accelerator side, but also on all the other compute side... And then, of course, we have our equity," Nadella said.&nbsp;CFO Amy Hood added: "I would say is having the revenue share exists through 2030 and the predictability of that is a real positive for us. In November, OpenAI disclosed a $38 billion commitment with Amazon Web Services. And in late February, Amazon said it would invest $50 billion in OpenAI, which would, in turn, use 2 gigawatts of AWS’s custom Trainium chips to train AI models.On its earnings call on Wednesday, Amazon said it added OpenAI’s GPT-5.4 to Bedrock, an AWS platform that lets customers build and scale AI applications, with the GPT-5.5 model expected to arrive in the coming weeks."People for a long time have wanted to consume OpenAI models in Bedrock,” Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said. “The one thing you learn over and over again with every technology... is that customers want choice. Earlier this year, 21Shares, the crypto ETF issuer, launched the 21Shares Dogecoin ETF (TDOG).&nbsp;The contract provides regulated, physically backed DOGE exposure, taking another step toward integrating the meme currency into regular financial markets.“Dogecoin is a unique asset with a global community and expanding real-world use cases,” said Federico Brokate, global head of business development at 21Shares, at the launch.
