They all but divested from gene therapy entirely other than their AADC drug, and no longer have any internal gene therapy capabilities, either research or CMC. Even with sephience they're still routinely spending close to or over their revenue every quarter. They threw out the old CEO for hemorrhaging money, and making acquisitions like this feels like old habits dying hard.
