The SUI token is central to the ecosystem, serving as the primary asset for transaction fees and on-chain utility within decentralized exchanges and lending platforms. Users participate in a proof-of-stake mechanism by locking their tokens to support validators and secure the blockchain in exchange for rewards. Smart contracts are self-executing programs written in Solidity that automatically carry out agreements when conditions are met, eliminating intermediaries like banks or brokers.   Validators stake ETH as collateral to propose and validate blocks, earning rewards for honest participation while facing penalties for malicious behavior. The EIP-1559 upgrade introduced a dynamic base fee mechanism that burns ETH with each transaction, creating deflationary pressure during high network activity when more ETH is burned than issued to validators.  Vitalik Buterin proposed Ethereum in 2013, but seven co-founders helped build it, including Gavin Wood who created Solidity and the EVM technical specification, and Joseph Lubin who founded ConsenSys. The project launched in July 2015 after raising over $18 million through crowdfunding, quickly becoming the largest blockchain developer community. Morgan. Its institutional products include the Chainlink Runtime Environment for tokenized asset workflows, Confidential Compute for privacy-preserving computation, and the Automated Compliance Engine for embedding regulatory rules into smart contracts.  The LINK token is the native asset used to pay node operators for services, fund subscription accounts, and incentivize network security through staking. Node operators stake LINK as collateral, which can be slashed if they provide inaccurate data. Chainlink was co-founded in 2017 by Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis, who co-authored the white paper with Ari Juels, and raised $32 million in its September 2017 ICO.

Unlike many venture-backed projects, it is maintained by a decentralized community of independent developers and a global network of miners. (SANA) jumped 24% after-hours on Monday after the company announced a strategic collaboration with Mayo Clinic that involves an equity investment by the latter. &nbsp;</p><p>The agreement is aimed at advancing the development of its investigational cell therapy SC451 for type 1 diabetes. The company expects to seek the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s clearance to start clinical trials and begin early stage trials for it as early as this year.</p><p>Sana’s SC451 is designed to support long-term glucose control without the need for ongoing insulin therapy in type 1 diabetes patients. The agreement with Mayo is aimed at accelerating development, validation, and standardization of protocols and processes for SC451, and supporting safe, scalable, and consistent delivery across diverse clinical environments.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Equity Investment in Sana Biotechnology by Mayo</h2><p>Sana on Monday said that Mayo purchased 7.5 million shares of the company’s common stock at a price of $3.33 per share for gross proceeds of about $25 million under the deal.
